Handling Objections by Tom Hopkins (Classic) Our studies have proven, and in my personal career I saw many times, that people only object when they want to go ahead. If they decide they’re not going ahead, there’s no reason to give you any objections.
So the key is to learn to love areas of concern (because we need them) then master how to handle them. In other words, learn to view areas of concern as something positive.
If people don’t express some sort of concern, if they don’t slow you down, if they don’t challenge you, if they don’t fight going ahead a little bit, if they don’t try to stall you, they’re probably not even interested in getting involved in your product or service, right?
